urgh. has the spotify mobile app been flipping out for anyone else recently? it’s been glitching real bad for me. its weird.

sometimes if i skip too many songs (i have no clue what “too many” is. sometimes it takes 20 other times it takes 2) it’ll just . not register skips anymore. like. and it wont properly load song lengths or lyrics or anything. it’ll keep playing the previous song too, like i never even skipped it. it also keeps playing for AGES after i close it, which i HAVE to do to fix this weird glitch.

its been doing it on THE FIRST SONG I PLAY occasionally recently too, so i dont even think its a bug with skipping. and, it does it sometimes when a song ends too. and when that happens, it’ll just… stop playing. as if someone paused it. it does it on wifi, data, AND when its playing via downloads.

oh, and also, when i close and reopen the app to fix it, it puts me back a few songs, seemingly randomly, but if it does it multiple times in a row its always the same song it puts me back. it doesnt even put me back on the song that it got stuck on, it puts me BEFORE that. sometimes a solid 10 songs before !!

it also breaks when switching playlists occasionally, and when it does that, when i reopen the app it keeps me on the previous playlist. really annoying for someone who uses shuffle 24/7 and forgets song names really easily. like. i wanted to listen to that !! urgh.

its weird. has anyone else been having this issue or anything similar???? i havent bothered researching it honestly. im bad at researching technical issues.
